About a1 foods

Located at 7832 W Sample Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33065, a1 foods operates as an asian grocery store serving Coral Springs in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 AM–9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach a1 foods at (954) 752-3028; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 182 reviews, which is a strong result for an asian grocery store in Coral Springs and suggests consistent service.

Coral Springs is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Coral Springs is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My visit to A1 Food was not a good experience. The store environment didn’t feel clean, and there was a noticeable smell throughout. I was also concerned about the freshness of the food being sold. I would strongly recommend the management focus on hygiene and ensuring all products are within their expiration dates.

Extremely concerning experience at A1 Food. I was sold a product that expired 2 years ago (2024). This is not a minor oversightβ€”it is a serious health risk and clear negligence. What made it worse was the response from the store. I was told that they β€œcan’t check all products for expiry” and that they β€œdon’t have a billing system to detect expired items while scanning.” This is completely unacceptable. Ensuring that expired products are not on shelves is a basic responsibility of any food store. I also have full proof of this incident, including photos and video clearly showing the expired product and the situation. This is not a misunderstandingβ€”it is a verified issue. Selling products that are 2 years past expiry and then refusing to take accountability shows a complete lack of concern for customer safety. I strongly advise others to double-check expiry dates before purchasing from here or better yet, avoid this store altogether.

Listen Boca and Deerfield I'm very disappointed that there is not a single Indian store grocery store between the two. There is a significant Indian population especially in Boca Raton with professionals such as doctors, engineers, students and IT specialists. It would be a great opportunity for someone to open up a Indian grocery store and either one of those cities. The only other option is one in delray beach. The store has all of your Indian snacks, spices, boxed masalas and different varieties of Paratha and rice. They also have fresh meats and small amount of produce (you know the only thing we want is those green chilies Ann curry leaves) πŸ˜‚

Can't get enough of their lentil Samosas, and snacks. They have all types of Desi, food, snacks, spices, and other goods. The variety is huge for such a small store and there's always customers about. They have some entire row of completely different lentils. There's fresh cut meats and poultry in the back. Right of the counter lies a small selection of fresh vegetables along with other frozen foods. There's entire bags of rice stacked in a row next to some small shopping carts (Count on using one when you come here) Plus Everything is halal! I love trying new things and the huge variety of items makes for finding very interesting items. Downside is that some items are either out or low in stock.
